The first run of black bandanas sold out in minutes. Luckily, as any good howler does, we gambled on your incredible support and our friends at Flashflood Print Studios are already scrambling to make a variant, this time on natural unbleached cotton.
While we are by no means insinuating that wearing this item will fully protect you from any sort of particles (viral or otherwise) we know that face coverings can't hurt. And since we are all trying to save N-95 masks for health care workers, a bad-ass House Mars bandana should do the trick.
Why now? We wanted to make face coverings you actually enjoy wearing since it helps everyone stay healthy. We also wanted to support some local artisans who have been hit hard by the Covid-19 crisis. This item has been printed by a small print shop that is currently taking out SBA loans so they can keep paying their employees. The bandana is being packed and shipped to you with love by another artist who is also currently fun-employed due to the Corona Virus.
Last but not least, profits will be donated to California United Ways, who just launched a COVID-19 Relief Fund to relieve hardship for vulnerable working families throughout the state.
**Please note, due to Covid caused supply line issues (and a run on bandana material. Who knew?) We aren't sure exactly when the cotton blanks will arrive at the shop to be printed. While they should arrive in the next few days, we can't a guarantee a timeline at this point. As the eagle-eyed reader will likely note, this also means that above images are mockups and the final product may differ a bit. Thanks!
